Marwan Hellal is an experienced Lecturer and Ph.D. candidate at Western University, Ontario Canada, focusing on theories of fairness and their application to sport. He has worked with the United States Anti-doping Agency (USADA) and UFC as a doping control officer, and also at the International Centre for Olympic Studies (ICOS) in Canada. His interests span a number of ethical domains including sport governance, athlete rights, and promoting clean sport.  He holds a BSc in Pharmacy and Biotechnology, and an MA in Sport Ethics and Integrity. He is a former international swimmer for Egypt.
